Nyapach separated from her 7 children and her husband as a result of war. It was not easy for her to cope with the situation despite keeping herself busy with some activities to gain resilience.

In 2016 Nyapch was introduced to WOCO by a friend and there after she shared her problem with the FTR department and all the information about her missing children were documented and shared Shortly after the process of tracing started and it was successful. After 3 months of tracing the children were found in Juba, while in Juba they were being taken care of by an eighteen years brother who had no stable source of income, as a result their situation was worsening day in day out.

Nyapach was finally reunified with her lovely children after a separation of three years by the help of WOCO, UNICEF, Save the Children and FTR implementing partners in Juba. The joy and happiness which both the children and the mother were missing was finally enjoyed and smile was seen in the faces of the children.

After the reunification she still faced challenges resulting from livelihood disruption and lack of basic needs, but she strongly believed that she could find a way to provide for the daily needs of her children. Lucky enough Nyapch was among the vulnerable families who were screened and selected to get support from WOCO to start a small Income Generating Activity. She received training, materials and capital to start her business. Now, Nyapch has a small shop where she is selling tea in the market and she is baking bread that she sells to NGOs in Aburoc. She is able to generate income to provide the basic needs of her children. From this business she has managed to purchase two cows (rear) to support her livelihood and sustain her business.
