Among the most noticeable games that the children enjoy in these centers is the jump rope. WOCO supports Jump rope as one of the games in Child Friendly Spaces. In this games one or more participants jump over a rope swung so that it passes under their feet and over their heads.  The game takes several styles including, single freestyle, single speed, pairs, three-person speed (Double Dutch), and three-person freestyle (Double Dutch freestyle).

Jumping rope is a stimulating physical activity that is excellent for releasing endorphins in the brain to boost mood, promote relaxation and induce a sense of well-being. Research has also shown that jumping rope helps in boosting memory, mental alertness, and awareness of surroundings. It is also correlated with improved academic performance.>

Jumping rope is an excellent motor skill-building activity. Since kids have to pick up both their feet simultaneously while jumping rope, it builds bilateral motor coordination. Jumping rope for beginners also takes a lot of concentration, which helps kids improve their ability to focus.

These friendly spaces provide chances for children to express their feelings of fear and loss, through creative play, stories and group interactions.

Children take part in psychosocial activities

Child Friendly Spaces can improve children's psychosocial well-being by strengthening and nurturing children's cognitive, emotional, and social development. They can strengthen children's internal and external support systems by offering socializing and structured play activities with peers.
