At least one hundred girls and women of reproductive age have received dignity kits containing washing soaps, sanitary pads, slippers, body lotions, pair of scissors, solar powered torches, pants, and face mirror in Aburoc IDPs camp and the surrounding areas. Other items also distributed alongside the hygiene kits are plastic sheets, mosquitoes’ net and bar laundry soaps.

The beneficiaries were facing challenges from bad weather due to lack proper housing, brought about by inadequate shelter materials such as plastic sheets and high prices of commodities in the local markets that have been made worst by flood.

The beneficiaries expressed satisfaction for the items distributed and described it as timely intervention that will save them from the bad weather and alleviate them from the current economic crisis.
